public StringOutputStream(int offset)

Parameters:

offset - Number of bytes to leave out at the beginning

StringOutputStream

public StringOutputStream()

Unlike StringInputStream, it won't take the first byte to be the length. To void said byte, use new StringOutputStream(1)
